What is TEDxHamilton.co.nz?
TEDxHamilton.co.nz brings the spirit of TEDx to our local community.
Our first event, TEDx Tamahere Youth is an independently organised event, where we aim to create a paltform for speakers across all ages and genres of the Greater Waikato region to share their unique insights and experiences, fostering deep discussions and inspiring new perspectives.
Our goal is to spark curiosity, encourage innovation, and build a stronger, more connected community in Hamilton, and th eGreater Waikato region.
This is a unique initiative, as the team comprises mainly of 13-15 year old students, who want to talk about change, growth, future and many things in between.

About Us
TEDxTamahere Yoouth is a locally organised, self-funded event that operates under licence from TED. We are passionate about fostering innovation, critical thinking, and open dialogue among New Zealand youth.
Our team of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to bring you high-quality events that inspire and engage.
An idea by 13 year old founder and lead licensee, Abir Mahajan, a Year 9 student who is passionate about new ideas, public speaking and respectful exchange of differing views, TEDx Tamahere Youth is an honest effort to bring young voices to the policy makers, change makers and community leaders of today.
